Yellow Ribbon Program Appeal

You may submit a formal written appeal to the School Certifying Official if you believe your Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) benefit amount is incorrect or petition to reinstate your YRP benefit.  If requesting reinstatement of the YRP benefit, you must demonstrate mitigating circumstances in the formal appeal and provide relevant documentation in support of their petition.   The written appeal will be reviewed by committee members knowledgeable of the VA’s education benefits and the University’s academic policy.  The committee will send a written response to you within thirty (30) days of receiving the written appeal and documentation.

The committee reserves the right to request additional documentation.
