Entrance Exams and Test Prep

Entrance exam scores may be required to gain admission to your program of study.  Please review the departmental requirements for the graduate program.

Unofficial entrance exam scores may be used to gain conditional admission. You may self-report test scores using the Unofficial Score Report, found on the Graduate Admissions Form page, for the required exam, while waiting for official documents to be sent and received by Graduate Admissions.

You are required to request an official sealed score report from the testing agency.   The documents must be sent directly from the testing agency to Graduate Admissions at APSU.  

Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

If you reside near campus, the Graduate Record Exam may be taken at the Prometric Test Center, located one block from APSU. To find a test center near you, schedule an exam, or to learn more about test preparation, visit the GRE website. The APSU code for the GRE is 1028.

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

For local applicants, the nearest testing center is Pearson Professional Center, located in Nashville. To find a test center near you, schedule an exam, or to learn more about test preparation, visit the official GMAT website.
