Survey Policy and Oversight Committee
Membership: 1 representative from Institutional Effectiveness, Planning and Analytics, 1 representative from Student Affairs, 1 faculty representative, 1 graduate faculty member from the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences (CoBHS). Ex officio members: Assistant Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Analytics; Institutional Review Board (IRB) Committee Chair; Qualtrics Brand Administrator.
Terms of Service: Three-year terms will be staggered after the first year. Service Term is September through August.
Description: The Survey Policy and Oversight Committee (SPOC) will review the quality, content, and applicability of all proposed surveys to determine if they adhere to university practices and procedures and to issue whatever time, place, and manner restrictions are appropriate. Survey administration oversight by the SPOC does not supersede the policies and procedures of the Institutional Review Board. The SPOC will establish a master survey calendar for the institution. The SPOC is the gatekeeper for access to the database containing contact information.
