APSU University Transfer Track

The University Transfer Track allows qualified English Language Institute students to receive an English proficiency requirement waiver when applying to APSU.

Eligibility Requirements

Academic Performance

• Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA at the English Language Institute

• No history of academic probation

• Maintain good academic standing throughout enrollment

Application Timeline

• Submit waiver request by week 5 of the current term

• Meet all APSU application deadlines

Application Process

For Undergraduate Programs:

• Complete APSU undergraduate application

• Submit all required admission documents

• Pay application fee (if not previously paid)

For Graduate Programs:

• Complete APSU graduate application

• Submit all program-specific requirements

• Pay application fee (if not previously paid)

Standard English Proficiency Requirements

The University Transfer Track, offered through the Intensive English Program (IEP) at Austin Peay State University, prepares international students for undergraduate study at APSU. Through advanced English instruction and academic skill development, the track equips students with the linguistic and scholarly competencies necessary to meet APSU’s English Language Proficiency requirements and transition successfully into degree programs.
