The mission of the APSU Testing Center is to support the academic goals of the college by providing admission, placement and credit earning testing services. The APSU Testing Center adheres to nationally recognized professional testing standards while providing reliable test administration and high-quality customer service that facilitates the pursuit of personal educational goals. We provide a welcoming, comfortable, quiet testing environment with students in mind.
Please Note: The Testing Center has no involvement with the administration of the ACT exam held on our campus. Please contact ACT directly for any questions in regards to the exam.
On Campus Testing:

Remote (Online) Testing:
To request a remote ACCUPLACER, please submit your information using the Request Remote (Online) Accuplacer Exam form. There is a $20 fee for online proctoring.
Closure Notification:
The Academic Testing Center will be closed any days the university is closed for holidays or other unexpected closures. Please refer to the main webpage www.apsu.edu for university closure notifications.
On unexpected closure dates, all scheduled exams will be cancelled and you will need to reschedule online for another testing date. If you have already paid a proctoring fee online, please contact the Testing Center to reschedule so you do not pay a second proctoring fee.
Important Information:
- A fee is charged for the administration of most of the tests offered at the Testing Center. Please visit the Test Directory page for test-specific fee information.
- Please dress in layers so that you can adjust to any room temperature.
- Food and drink are not allowed in the Testing Center.
- Visitors, including children, are not permitted in the testing room while testing is in progress. Children may not be left unattended in the Testing Office at any time.
