Commencement Photography
Starting with the August 2, 2024 commencement ceremony, commencement photography is conducted in-house by University photography staff. Photographers are stationed throughout the Dunn Center to make sure your moment is documented. Ceremony participants will be emailed once photos are available for digital download.
Downloads are available at no cost to graduates and their families.
Photography will be accessible within the University's Canto online library in the weeks following your ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions
Photography will be edited and catalogued in the weeks following each commencement ceremony. Photos will be available for free download no later than one month after your ceremony.

Canto uses facial recognition to better index photos. Use your name as a keyword in the search bar to start.

OR Use the commencement dropdown at the left side of the page to filter down to your ceremony and college.

OR You can also use the search bar at the top of the page to find your photos.

Use your ceremony month and year as well as your college name as keywords.

For instance, a May 2023 history and philosophy graduate will use "may 2023 college of arts and letters" as keywords.

Submit this form and a member of the photography team will assist.
Graduates are free to purchase prints of their commencement photos using third party printers.

Austin Peay State University is the rightful owner of the photographs shown at the link above, taken during the University's commencement ceremonies in August, December and May.
The University hereby grants permission to all graduates to reproduce and print the above-mentioned photographs for the purpose of personal use.
