An eight-time winner of the General Douglas MacArthur Award — given to the top 8 Army ROTC programs in the country. Cadets train alongside the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, with access to Air Assault School and multi-million dollar simulation facilities.

Undergraduate Research

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Innovative Learning (URIL) funds student-faculty projects up to $3,000 and supports travel to present research regionally, nationally, and internationally — across every discipline. Qualifying students wear a Research & Innovation Honor Cord at commencement.

Study Abroad & International Exchange

20+ partner universities in the UK, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and beyond. Exchange students typically pay APSU tuition only. Faculty-led programs earn 3–6 credit hours. Financial aid applies to all programs.

Honors Program

Priority registration, 24/7 Honors Commons access (music room, computer lab, kitchen, private library), and a direct path to research, study abroad, and service learning. Students complete 12–24 honors-designated credit hours.

Build Your Career at Every Stage

The Career Success Center offers personalized coaching, Handshake access for jobs and internships, and college-specific Career Success Coaches from your first semester through graduation. APSU students have landed internships with the Tennessee Titans Foundation, Big Four accounting firms, and federal cybersecurity agencies — often before their junior year. The flagship Summer Internship Program places rising juniors and seniors in 10-week paid positions with Clarksville-area employers.

Arts & Culture at APSU

There's always something happening in APSU's arts community — and you don't have to be an arts major to be part of it. Every year the campus hosts more than 100 free public events, including live theatre productions and dance showcases, faculty and student art exhibitions, concerts and ensemble performances, literary readings, and artist talks and lectures with nationally and internationally recognized visiting artists.

The New Gallery at 15 Henry St presents rotating contemporary exhibitions throughout the year. Music ensembles perform regularly on and off campus. Theatre & Dance mounts five mainstage productions per season. And CECA's visiting artist series brings some of the most compelling creative voices in the country directly to Clarksville.

Community Engagement & Sustainability (CES) connects students with 50+ service-learning courses and structured volunteer placements across the Clarksville region. Earn academic credit while making a real impact in the community.

The ENGAGE Living-Learning Community brings service-minded students together in a cohort focused on community impact. Alternative Break Trips send groups to volunteer across the country during academic breaks.

The Govs Serve Clarksville initiative makes group volunteering simple for student organizations, departments, and living-learning communities — year-round.
