Psi Chi and the Psych Club at Austin Peay State University will present the Got Your Six Throwdown CrossFit competition on Nov. 16 to raise awareness about veterans’ mental health.

The event starts at 8 a.m. at Always Strong Fitness, 660 Cola Drive, in Clarksville. Money from the event will go to the Psi Chi honors society and to Soldiers and Families Embrace (S.A.F.E.), which offers free mental health services to veterans, soldiers and their families.

“This event will not only serve the needs of the regional area, considering that the Army is such a big part of the Clarksville community, but it will also benefit APSU students,” Lauren Kennedy of Psi Chi said.

Same-sex teams of three people can register for either RX or scaled competitions at the Got Your Six Throwdown 2019 Facebook event page or by clicking here.
