Veronica Marable Johnson ('90), an Austin Peay State University business graduate, was recently honored by News Channel 5 for her exceptional contributions to Nashville's hospitality industry.

Johnson, who currently serves as Vice President of Programs & Event Logistics at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, was featured for going above and beyond during a medical emergency involving a California visitor at a Chamber event. Her compassionate response exemplifies the outstanding service that earned her recognition as a "Music City Hitmaker."

This month marks Johnson's eighth anniversary with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, where she leads a team supporting businesses throughout the region.
