Faculty Professional Development Sabbatical Committee

 

Membership: One tenured faculty member from each Academic College, College Dean appointed by the Provost; Academic Department Chair appointed by the Provost.

Terms of Service: Faculty members will serve a three-year term and can serve two consecutive terms. When consecutive terms have been served, a three-year break must occur before serving again.

Description: The committee has the responsibility to review applications for faculty professional development sabbaticals. Utilizing the Faculty Professional Development Sabbaticals Application Scoring Rubric, the committee will review all submitted applications and recommend sabbatical recipients to the dean of the applicant’s college and the Provost. Please note all sabbatical applications must be received by October 1st of each year and recommendations will be made to the appropriate college(s) by the end of the Fall Semester.
