A fourth and fifth-grade teacher for ten years, Dr. Zimmerle returned to her alma mater in 2017 to teach in the Eriksson College of Education as an assistant professor of education.
Dr. Zimmerle's research interests include teacher education, online learning, digital
responsibility, and social media in education.
