Prepare to indulge your curiosity and quench your thirst for knowledge at APSU's Science on Tap event! Join us for an exhilarating evening where science meets socializing in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.

Science on Tap features College of STEM faculty presenting fascinating topics to the community. Attendees have the opportunity to learn from experts in their field while engaging in thought-provoking discussion while enjoying delicious local brews and food at Strawberry Alley. It's a free event for all ages, offering an engaging platform for researchers, faculty, and science enthusiasts to share their passion and knowledge with the public.


How to attend

Science on Tap takes place every first Tuesday of the month during the academic year. The event, held upstairs at Strawberry Alley Ale Works in downtown Clarksville, begins at 5:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m.

Join us March 3, 2026 for a panel discussion entitled Impacts of a Shrinking Forest Canopy and Solutions for Restoring Our Urban Trees, featuring Dr. Chris Gentry (Associate Dean of the College of STEM), Wes Powell (APSU Director of Landscape and Grounds), Kathrine Killebrew (City of Clarksville City Forester) and Michelle Rogers (Center of Excellence for Field Biology Principal Investigator, Instructor of Biology at APSU and Vice President, Chair of Outreach and Education Committee for Replant Clarksville).
