Student Experiences
The College of Business offers a variety of educational experiences that support students in exploring their passions beyond the classroom. Opportunities include first-year seminar, living-learning communities, undergraduate research, study abroad, service and community-based learning, internships and other professional development opportunities.

The student-managed investment fund provides a valuable experiential-learning opportunity for students to explore their passions in finance and investments.

Banking on Govs is the first partnership program between the college, F&M Bank and the Tennessee Bankers Association. The program provides an all-expenses-paid experience for qualified students to attend the Southeastern School of Banking for two consecutive summers. The experience boosts students' industry acumen and network, better preparing them for a banking career. Interested students should email nyonnad@apsu.edu for more information.

Undergraduate/Graduate Research
Students can enrich their educational experience and gain practical research skills by researching various business topics.

Internships provide experiential learning opportunities to students while allowing them to incorporate the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom in a professional environment. An intern can gain valuable, practical experience and network with individuals in their career field.

The College of Business strives to push students beyond the textbook and help them explore their passions in order to empower our graduates to compete in a global economy.
