This exciting initiative provides professional development funds for staff members at Austin Peay to pursue a generative AI course or development opportunity. The program's goal is to foster skill development in emerging generative AI technologies that can enhance your job-specific skills, spark innovation, and strengthen the work we do every day at Austin Peay.

Program Details

• What It Is: A grant for staff to pursue professional development in generative artificial intelligence.
• Funding: Provides up to $250 for a generative AI course or development opportunity. The funds can be used for expenses such as registration fees, tuition, required materials, or software.
• Eligibility: All full-time staff members are eligible to apply.
• Deadline: Submissions are ongoing until all 40 grants have been awarded.

How to Apply

1. Find an Opportunity: Identify a generative AI course or program you wish to take from a provider like Coursera, MIT, LinkedIn Learning, or another institution.
2. Complete the Application: Fill out the grant application form, which includes sections for your information, course details, a statement of purpose, and a budget.
3. Get Supervisor Approval: The application requires the signature of your supervisor, who must agree that the opportunity is relevant to your role and approve any necessary time to complete the course.
