AI Suvey-Faculty/Staff

In Spring of 2025, the office for Strategic Initiatives worked with the AI Taskforce to create and release a survey to capture information about the use of AI at the University and sentiments about the integration of AI into teaching and learning. The results specifically shaped the training and development initiative.

This initiative is in progress and set to deploy in September 2025.

Training and Development

APSU is deploying a robust train the trainer model to provide development in phases. The first phase will include training for faculty and staff. To access training opportunities, please see the Resources.

AI Symposium 2025: The Transformative Power of Artificial Intelligence at Austin Peay State University

The inaugural AI Symposium in 2024 looked at the future of AI in higher education. This year, the AI Symposium will focus on building skill sets for faculty, staff and students in AI for teaching and learning, workforce development and future careers.
