Faculty Conference & Annual Meeting

Each August, faculty participate in a variety of workshops and meetings to share strategies to support innovative and effective teaching and learning, recognize faculty for their accomplishments and service, learn about university initiatives and priorities, become familiar with changes to university policies and processes, and more. First year faculty participate in the First Year Faculty Orientation program beginning Friday, August 1, 2025. Returning faculty report two weeks prior to the first day of classes. The first day of classes for the Fall semester is Tuesday, August 26, 2025, and the Faculty Conference and Annual Meeting kicks off with the All Faculty Meeting on Monday, August 11, 2025.

2025 First Year Faculty August Schedule

In January, faculty return one week prior to the first day of Spring semester classes. The first day of classes for the Spring semester is Tuesday, January 20, 2026, and the January pre-semester calendar programming begins January 12, 2026.
