Non-Traditional College Credit

Austin Peay State University (APSU) awards college credit with a grade of “P” (Pass) for a variety of non-traditional learning and examinations. Credit earned by non-traditional methods—including correspondence and extension credit—may be applied toward a degree up to a maximum of one-half of the total credits required for the degree sought. To ensure credits apply as intended, students should submit a Coursework Approval Form before earning additional credit.

Official test scores must be sent directly from the testing center to APSU.
