Welcome to PR and Marketing

The overall goal of our office is to enhance and advance the image of the University throughout the state and region. Speaking broadly, our responsibilities include media relations, publications, marketing, Web management, visual identity, social media, graphic design and photography.

Among the publications we produce are Austin Peay (the primary publication for alumni and friends), InnerAction (electronic newsletter for faculty and staff), APSU's student recruitment publications and many departmental and program brochures, fliers and posters.

If you receive any of our publications, we welcome your comments on them. Are they enjoyable? Informational? Well designed? Are we responsive to our readers; that is, do we publish articles and information you want? How can we improve? We invite you to send your comments to persingerb@apsu.edu.


Imprinting Apparel

All clothing and apparel (shirts, caps, etc.) purchased with University funds require the following:

  • APSU’s official logo and the name of the University be imprinted on the item.
  • The Office of Public Relations and Marketing approve the design prior to printing.

To expedite the process, send the artwork along with vendor name, quantity and cost to logoapproval@apsu.edu or to the Public Relations and Marketing Office. Any questions should be directed to the executive director.
