Texts for Vets Program
The Texts for Vets Program was created to assist APSU military-affiliated students overcome the financial burden of purchasing textbooks. The program is completely FREE and open to all local APSU students. The textbooks we provide our students are donated from the APSU community, which are distributed through the Woodward Library.
Due to the limited number of textbooks, we distribute them out based on a first-come first-served basis. WE DO NOT SHIP BOOKS! The first week of distribution is designated for veterans, active duty, reservist, national guardsmen, retirees, ROTC students, and family members. Once the semester starts, distribution is open to all APSU students. During the last week of the term, students are to return the textbook(s) to the Woodward Library. In the event that you move prior to the end of the semester, you are responsible for the return of any textbook borrowed. A HOLD will be placed on the student's account if they fail to return a borrowed textbook.
Ways to show support
If you have any textbooks that you no longer use please think of helping out your fellow students by donating those textbooks to the Newton Military Family Resource Center. Remember this program is FREE to all students and funded completely by donations.

Application and Return Dates
Texts for Vets will be available on the following dates:

- Priority students (Veterans, Active duty, Military Family Members): 1/08 to 1/15
- All other APSU students from: 1/16 to 3/20
Text for Vets returns are due back:

- Returns for Term 1 will be accepted from: 3/3 to 3/8
- Returns for MC Full term & Term 2 will be accepted from: 4/29 to 5/5
Texts for Vets will be available on the following dates:

- All other APSU students from: 5/6 to 7/12
Text for Vets returns are due back:

- Returns for MC Full term & Term 2 will be accepted from: 8/5 to 8/11
Texts for Vets will be available on the following dates:

- All other APSU students from: 8/26 to 10/30
Text for Vets returns are due back:
