APSU Junior Coders Customized Classes / Camps : 3-12th Grade

• All classes are run by APSU Computer Science B.S. or Master's Degree Student Instructors
• Most 9th-12th grade teaching materials are current university teaching materials provided by APSU Computer Science Professors
• Learning coding at our University PC Labs:
  • APSU’s Maynard Mathematics and Computer Science Building
  • APSU's CoSTEM Technology Building

Build Your Customized Classes / Camps:

1. Choose your students' age group:
   1. 3rd-5th Grade
   2. 6th-8th Grade, Middle School
   3. 9th-12th Grade, High School, 1st Year College in Fall
2. Choose your class / camp format:
   1. Class Format: 4 sections of 1.5-hour classes
      1. $89 per student, minimum of 10 students to make class
   2. Half Day Camp Format: 5 days, 3 hours per day
      1. $189 per student, minimum of 10 students to make camp
      2. Half day camp, NO lunch provided. However, snack & drinks are provided
   3. Full Day Camp Format: 5 days, 7 hours per day
      1. $399 per student, minimum of 10 students to make camp
      2. Day Camps, flexible time, lunch provided, snack & drinks, free T-shirt, games
3. Customization
   1. If your group has less than 10 students, class/camp can be customized at a higher price.
   2. Longer class / camp durations can be discussed at a higher price.
   3. If your students bring their Windows-based laptops, we have provide classes/camps at almost anytime.
   4. If your students use our University PC Labs, we can provide classes/camps
      
      • Fall / Spring semesters: weekdays after 5pm, or anytime during Saturdays / Sundays
      • Summer / Winter semesters: almost anytime
      • You bring nothing
4. Choose the computer programming / coding language you want to learn:
   1. Roblox (3rd-12th Grade)

   2. Scratch (3rd-8th Grade)
      • Scratch is a visual programming language and educational tool for coding.
   3. 3D Game Development (6th-12th Grade)
      • Learn one of the most popular game development engine. Build 3D games.
   4. Minecraft (6th-12th Grade)
      • Learn basic programming skills within the world of Minecraft.
   5. Python (9th-12th Grade)
      • Learn the hottest (and coolest) programming language for data science.
   6. Java (9th-12th Grade)
      • Learn the most popular object-oriented, general-purpose programming language.
      • Most universities use Java as their first programming language.
   7. C++ (9th-12th Grade)
      • C++ is the a object-oriented programming language, used mainly in systems programming and embedded systems.
   8. HTML / CSS / JavaScript (6th-12th Grade)
      • Learn the languages of the Internet & Web. Build webpages.
   9. Advanced JavaScript Programming (6th-12th Grade)
      • Learn Web client-side JavaScript programming.
      • You must take "HTML / CSS / JavaScript" classes first, before this.
   10. PHP Web Programming (9th-12th Grade)
       • Learn Web server-side PHP programming
       • You must take "HTML / CSS / JavaScript" classes first, before this.
   11. WordPress Web Development (9th-12th Grade)
       • "WordPress is a factory that makes webpages".
       • Build websites, fast, and professionally.
       • You must take "HTML / CSS / JavaScript" classes first, before this.
