Established in 1990, the Community School of the Arts (CSA) at APSU offers a variety of arts classes for children and adults, from beginning to advanced levels, in the areas of dance, theatre, music, creative writing, and visual art. The Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts (CECA, or "seek-ah") took over the management of the CSA in 2017. For more information, call 931-221-7034 or email csa@apsu.edu

The Clarksville community can now participate in free painting workshops thanks to a partnership between Austin Peay State University's Community School of the Arts (CSA) and the Customs House Museum. Support for the workshops comes from a $15,000 Google Data Center Grant awarded to help the CSA provide accessible art experiences.
