Welcome to the Wilbur N. Daniel African American Cultural Center



Daily Activities


The Wilbur N. Daniel African American Cultural Center is located in Clement 120. The hours of operation are 8 a.m-6 p.m., Monday through Tuesday, and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Wednesday through Friday for student, faculty and staff use. The Center provides calculators (TI-83) for students to check out, graduate school preparation (GRE, GMAT, MCAT) laptops and netbooks (provided by Clearwire), as well as over 1,600 library resources. For students interested in foreign languages, the Center also provides Rosetta Stone in Portuguese, Swahili, French, and Spanish Tutorial CDs. There are stationary computers, with the Respondus program, also available. In addition, the Center provides a SMART board for students to use for practicing presentations. Students may stop by to eat snacks, study, relax, watch TV, or use the Playstation 2 game system as well.
