Why the Robinson Flight Instructor Certificate

The Robinson R-44 is known for its affordability and is widely used for training, tourism, and personal transport. The R-44 is a popular choice for many companies due its lower operating costs.

Becoming a helicopter flight instructor offers a combination of professional and personal benefits, making it a rewarding career path for those passionate about aviation. It allows a rapid accumulation of flight hours, enhanced job security, and the satisfaction of sharing knowledge and skills with aspiring pilots.

What makes our certificate program unique is we ensure students receive the required flight training, in the Robinson R-44, to meet the certified flight instructor requirements of Special Federal Aviation Regulation No. 73. Students with at least 200 hours in a helicopter will be eligible to receive their endorsement.

Potential students who wish to enroll must hold an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate: Rotorcraft-Helicopter; Instrument Helicopter.
