Why Study Culinary Arts
These programs would appeal to students with interests in physical education, recreational administration, and culinary arts/restaurant management.
This is a reconfigured program that consists of two Concentrations, Recreation Administration and Culinary Arts. Both fields have strong demand at present. An Austin Peay selling point is that 75% of the degree is course work specific to the field.
Faculty include full-time and adjunct instructors with academic and/or professional backgrounds.
What Will I Learn
- Students will gain skill in either recreation administration or culinary arts/restaurant management, such that they can transition into a professional setting upon graduation.
