Why study Sport and Wellness Specialist
Students who want a well-rounded education while also being exposed to recreation-related job experience will benefit from the Sport and Wellness Specialist concentration.
Available on campus with some courses offered online, the Sport and Wellness Specialist concentration is designed for students who are interested in both campus and parks and recreation. The department works closely with both University Recreation and the Clarksville-Montgomery County Parks and Recreation office to provide students with internship and/or work related experience.
The faculty who teach in the Sport and Wellness Specialist concentration have an interest in sport psychology, recreation, physical education, and wellness.
