West Creek Team 2 won this fall’s Raider Challenge JROTC competition at Austin Peay State University.

The Sept. 21 event drew high schools – and about 90 cadets – from throughout Middle Tennessee to compete in several challenges, such as rope climbs and rope bridge; a two-mile run; casualty and medical evacuations; castle raid and tire resupply; and a field leader reaction course.

Schools included Rossview, Clarksville, Northwest, Montgomery Central, Kenwood, West Creek and Ravenwood high schools, and the challenges happened across Austin Peay’s Clarksville campus.
