Senior Exit Exam

Congratulations on your upcoming degree! Taking the Senior Exit Exam is required for all students earning their first Bachelor's degree, regardless of their major. The state of Tennessee requires Austin Peay to give an exam that assesses students’ critical thinking skills. This exam helps to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of general education at Austin Peay and across the state.

The Senior Exit Exam is given three times a year (summer, fall, and spring). You must complete the Senior Exit Exam prior to the published deadline in the semester in which you will graduate. The test can be taken any time during your final year at Austin Peay. Most students opt to take the test during their final semester after applying for graduation.

There is no cost associated with taking this exam. The exam can be taken on any computer, tablet, or phone with stable internet access via a secure web browser. Once you register for the test and receive your login information, you may complete the exam at any time that is convenient for you, prior to the deadline. Please review the FAQ as well as testing schedule and instructions on this website, then register for further instructions on how to complete this requirement.
