Accessibility

Austin Peay State University is committed to creating and maintaining a welcoming, open, and accessible campus environment for all students, faculty, and staff. Our goal is to ensure that every member of our community has the opportunity to thrive academically, personally, and professionally without unnecessary barriers or challenges.
Our Commitment
-
Welcoming Environment: We strive to foster a campus culture where accessibility, belonging, and opportunity are prioritized for all members of our community.
-
Removing Barriers: It is imperative that obstacles to achievement are eliminated, so that the only limits on potential are those defined by an individual's abilities and skills.
-
Educational Opportunities: We are dedicated to providing every member of our community with equitable access to resources, programming, and learning experiences that support their fullest potential as individuals and as contributors to society.
-
Support for All Populations: We offer a variety of resources, services, and spaces designed to meet the unique needs of our diverse student populations.
-
Collaboration and Awareness: We work collaboratively across the University to strengthen awareness of available support services and improve access to those resources.
-
Continuous Improvement: We are committed to improving the quality, consistency, and accessibility of our programs, services, and campus spaces to ensure full participation for all. This includes our ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance the accessibility of our digital environments — including websites, online tools, and electronic resources — so that all members of our community can access information and services with ease, regardless of ability or technology used.
