Commencement

Location

Commencement ceremonies are hosted in the Winfield Dunn Center, 510 Drane St., Clarksville, TN 37040.

 

Accessible Seating

There is handicapped-accessible seating. Seats must be reserved by the graduate. Graduates may email graduation at graduation@apsu.edu to obtain tickets for handicapped-accessible seating. Please include your A#, time of ceremony, and section of other reserved seats in the email request.

For guests who prefer or require step-free entry, the following gates are available:

  • Gate B – Seating Sections AA – EE & PP – SS (AA & SS are closest proximity to this gate)

  • Gate C – Seating Sections – AA – EE (section EE is closest proximity to this gate)

  • Gate D – ADA floor seating – limited availability – may be accompanied by one companion.

    • Elevator Access for Seating Sections KK – OO

ADA seating is first-come, first-served in the Dunn Center. We recommend that guests with mobility concerns arrive early (doors open 1 ½ hours before each ceremony) as seating fills quickly.

Elevator

The elevator may be accessed using Gate D.

 

Clear Bag Policy

Bags must be clear and not exceed 12"x12"x6". Non-clear bags will be permitted if 6.5"x4.5" or smaller. Exceptions for guests who require medical equipment will be provided. All bags subject to search.

 

Parking

Handicapped-accessible parking is located on the west side of the Dunn Center off of Robb Avenue (preferred parking) and directly behind the Dunn Center.

 

Wheelchairs

Austin Peay State University commencement venues are wheelchair accessible. As wheelchairs are not provided on-site, guests are encouraged and welcome to bring their own.
