Homecoming is when Governors come home. Alumni return to campus each fall to reconnect with classmates, celebrate reunions, and take part in the traditions that made their time at Austin Peay unforgettable. Here is everything you need to plan your Homecoming visit.
Alumni Homecoming Events
Homecoming weekend is packed with ways to reconnect. Most events take place Friday, Oct. 2, with the Greek Parade Watch Party rounding things out on Saturday, Oct. 3. Review the lineup below and RSVP for the gatherings you plan to attend.
48th Annual Homecoming Golf Tournament
Friday, Oct. 2, 2026 — 10 a.m. at Swan Lake Golf Course
A four-person scramble open to the public. The $100-per-person fee includes:

Governor's Circle Alumni Awards Celebration
Friday, Oct. 2, 2026 — Morgan University Center Ballroom
Reception at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. Join us as we celebrate the alumni joining our Governor's Circle as this year's Distinguished Alumni Award winners. Tickets are $45 per person.

Friday, Oct. 2, 2026 — 7 to 10 p.m.
Reconnect with your former teammates and fellow APSU athletics alumni. All past athletes and their guests are invited to enjoy complimentary food and a cash bar.

African American Alumni Chapter Scholarship Mixer
Friday, Oct. 2, 2026 — 8 p.m. to midnight at The Block, 303 Fairview Lane, Clarksville, TN 37040
Enjoy an evening of socializing and dancing, with a food truck on site from 8 to 10 p.m. Donations at the door support the Marvin Posey Jr. Scholarship Endowment.

Greek Parade Watch Party
Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026 — Browning Lawn (College Street)
The parade steps off at 11 a.m. Reconnect with fraternity and sorority alumni from all chapters and enjoy the Homecoming Parade together. This is a free event.
