About the English Language Institute
Since 1998, our program has helped students improve their English skills. We are located in Clarksville, Tennessee, just 45 minutes from Nashville.
Our Mission
The English Language Institute is dedicated to supporting international students in their academic journey. We focus on teaching English for university success and providing career-focused language training. Our program goes beyond language instruction – we introduce students to American culture and provide comprehensive support for their daily lives.

Our Facilities
As an ELI student, you'll have access to many of APSU's campus resources. Some facilities, such as the recreation center and certain student activities, require separate enrollment and payment. Access to these services is not automatic and is subject to university policies. This includes modern, technology-equipped classrooms, university computer labs, and a recreation center. Students receive an APSU ID card after enrolling in the university. ELI students are not automatically assigned an A# until they complete university enrollment.
