Keiland Dunigan

Dr. Dunigan joined the Department of Teaching & Learning in the College of Education at APSU in fall 2025. Currently, he teaches the graduate-level educational psychology course. Beyond the collegiate level, Dr. Dunigan has served in K-12 education for the past decade teaching a variety of history/social studies courses such as standard and honors levels of World History, U.S. History. Additionally, he has been trained and taught several AP courses, including AP European History, AP World History, AP Human Geography, and AP Psychology.

His primary research interests lie in the intersection of social and educational psychology. Particularly, Dr. Dunigan is interested in examining the critical consciousness of minority students to combat social issues such as racism, sexism, and democractic awareness through education and the classroom setting.
