Nader's professional background includes senior positions at international organizations, such as non-profits, cultural and educational development agencies, and the United Nations refugee agency. Nader actively participates in the academic community as a member of the Public Interest Communication Academic Network and various communication associations.

Specializing in political communication, he employs critical discourse analysis to examine communication in a colonial context, with a focus on activism, solidarity, and social movements worldwide.
