Dr. Melynda G. Conner is the Instructor of Business Communication in the APSU College of Business. She has taught collegiate communication courses for nearly 20 years. Additionally, Dr. Conner has been a small business owner and state-wide higher education faculty developer with expertise in high-impact practices. In addition to teaching classes, she has delivered more than 200 presentations and workshops to organizations and businesses to support effective internal communication and external company relations.

Dr. Conner’s research focuses on the employee experience of organizational communication and training during times of system-wide change, as well as on the student and faculty experience of classroom communication. As an active participant in the academic community, she is a member of the National Communication Association, the Association for Business Communication, and the International Association of Business Communicators.
