Eren Cifci, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the College of Business at Austin Peay State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Alabama in 2022 and conducts research at the intersection of real estate and finance, with an emphasis on empirically grounded, policy- and practice-relevant questions. His work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Real Estate Economics and the Journal of Real Estate Research, and has received multiple national and international honors, such as the A.J. Taylor Distinguished Professorship for Excellence in Research, the Socrates Award for Excellence in Teaching, and manuscript awards from the American Real Estate Society and the Financial Management Association. Dr. Cifci’s research has also attracted extensive media attention, with coverage by Realtor.com, Fox Business, Yahoo Finance, Fortune Magazine, USA Today, New York Post, Daily Mail, and Futurity.org. In addition to his research, he is actively engaged in teaching and curriculum development across finance and real estate, emphasizing real-world decision-making and student preparation for professional careers.
