A.J. Taylor Awards
for Excellence in Teaching and Research

The A.J. Taylor awards recognize two APSU College of Business faculty members who demonstrate exceptional scholarly work or innovative teaching practices that contribute to the mission of the College.

The award was established by alumnus Larry Carroll in honor of former Marketing professor, Dr. Albert J. Taylor, for his legacy of exceptional contributions to the College of Business.

Honorees received an award and academic stipend to support their future initiatives in research and teaching. The 2026 recipients are:

The award was initially established to recognize one faculty member and was later adjusted to include recognition for research and teaching.
