Faculty Conference and Annual Meeting (formerly Pre-Semester Calendar)

Each August, faculty participate in a variety of workshops and meetings to share strategies to support innovative and effective teaching and learning, recognize faculty for their accomplishments and service, learn about university initiatives and priorities, become familiar with changes to university policies and processes, and more. First year faculty participate in the First-Week On Boarding program beginning Monday, August 1, 2022. Returning faculty report two weeks prior to the first day of classes. The first day of the Fall semester is Monday, August 22, 2022, and the Faculty Conference and Annual Meeting kicks off with the All Faculty Meeting on Monday 8, 2022.

This year, CAFE has made a Call for Proposals and faculty are encouraged to submit a proposal via this LINK.

Faculty Conference and Annual Meeting 2022 Schedule

Updated April 2022

We plan on utilizing the conference app Sched again this year so be on the lookout when we publish the above schedule via the Sched! Using Sched, an online and mobile application, you can build your own custom schedule, network with colleagues, provide invaluable feedback for session presenters, and receive important updates from us.

If you would prefer to not use the app, either online or on your mobile device, you can find the complete details for each session when proposals have been submitted, reviewed and accepted.
