Available Services
Peer Tutoring
Peer tutoring can be an essential factor in student success. As part of APSU’s efforts to help students succeed, we provide FREE peer tutoring for 1000, 2000, and select upper-level courses. To schedule sessions with a peer tutor, please email tutoring@apsu.edu or visit AP Navigate.
Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental instruction (SI) sessions are structured study groups designed to help students achieve success in “historically difficult” courses. SI sessions are FREE, out-of-class review sessions open to all students enrolled in an offered course.
Online Tutoring
Online tutoring is available 24/7 for many APSU courses. Students access online tutoring through the "resources" tab in D2L by clicking Tutor.com 24/7. Tutor.com does not provide writing tutoring. Academic Testing Center
The mission of the APSU Testing Center is to support the academic goals of the college by providing admission, placement and credit earning testing services. We provide a welcoming, comfortable, quiet testing environment with students in mind.
Testing offered:

Accuplacer

Accuplacer can be used for APSU admission, college course level placement in math, reading and writing or to challenge a enhance course placement. The Accuplacer is offered at both the Clarksville campus and the Fort Campbell campus.

CLEP

CLEP, if the required score is achieved, awards college credit based on the university’s transfer policy.

TEAS
-
TEAS exam scores are reviewed by the School of Nursing at APSU to determine admission into the nursing program.
