Electronics Engineering Technology Concentration
Specializations: Electronic Communication or Computer Technology

The Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) program serves civilian and military students. The program will prepares graduates not only for work in construction service, but also in design and applications in electronics.

Electronic Communication Specialization

An associate of applied science degree in electronic communication qualifies you to continue into an advanced program of study or electronic jobs such as 

  • Communication Technician: Installs, repairs and maintains various types of communication, broadcasting or cable television equipment.
  • Industrial Electronic Technician: Installs, repairs and maintains various types of electronic equipment in large industrial sites.
  • Field and Customer Service Technician: Installs and maintains various types of electronic equipment with service provided at a customer site.
  • Engineering Assistant: Assists engineers in the design, development and testing of electronic equipment and automatic-controlled equipment.
  • Technical Equipment Sales: Sells electronics, communication systems and components.

Computer Technology Specialization

An associate of applied science degree in computer technology prepares you to continue into an advanced program of study or obtain entry-level positions in a variety of today’s computer-related jobs, such as

  • Computer Technician: Installs, repairs and maintains various types of computers and their related equipment.
  • Industrial Electronic Automation Technician: Installs, repairs and maintains various types of electronic automation and control equipment in large industrial sites.
  • Field and Customer Service Technician: Installs and maintains various types of electronic computer equipment at customer site.
  • Computer Engineering Assistant: Assists engineers in the design, construction and testing of computer equipment and automatic controlled equipment.
  • Technical Equipment Sales: Sells computer systems and components based on specific customer requirements.
