Through Austin Peay State University’s public management program, you will gain the practical work experience – and technical and managerial skills – needed to succeed in a variety of leadership roles. Your courses and experiences will prepare you for careers in both public and quasi-public sectors.

In addition to coursework covering topics such as urban planning, policy analysis and sector management, public management majors can choose any of the University’s minors, or select a concentration in criminal justice or general management. Our students graduate with a solid background in general areas of public management.
