Lindsay Walker, MM
Lindsey Walker, Soprano, holds a Bachelor of Music from Union University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Austin Peay State University. She has taught private voice lessons for over 15 years, teaching students to sing classical music and opera, musical theatre, and various popular musical styles. She has performed with opera companies in both Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. During her career as a singer, she performed roles such as Suor Genoveffa in Suor Angelica, Loretta in Gianni Schicchi, Lucy in The Telephone, the First Knitter in A Game of Chance, Marsyas in Philemon, and in the children's opera Monkey See, Monkey Do and in Die Fledermaus. Since moving to Nashville, she sings with the Goode Time Carolers each Christmas season. She also owns and runs a daycare center and preschool, and she enjoys teaching preschoolers about music basics, rhythms, and to play musical instruments.
