Kevin Loveland

Kevin Loveland holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from Mills College in Oakland, California and a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration inDance Production from Austin Peay State University. He found his way into dance via Theater, which is still present in a lot of his dances. He began his own dance company (Modern Love Dance Company) in 2010 which has presented work across the US. 

Kevin has danced in the works of Merce Cunningham, Sonya Delwaide, Peiling Kao, Margaret Rennerfeldt, and Marcus Hayes and been able to train under Kathleen Hermsdorf, Sylvia Martin, Sonya Delwaide, Marcus Hayes, Margaret Rennerfeldt, Holley Farmer, and Molissa Fenley. 

He has been fortunate enough to teach and choreography at Mills College, Tennessee Association of Dance, Watauga Arts Academy, French Woods Festival, American College Dance Association, and The Garage in San Francisco. Currently Kevin is a part of the Theater and Dance Departments at both Austin Peay State University and Middle Tennessee State University.
