Austin Peay State University, the Division of Student Affairs,and the Office of Student Life and Engagement strives to connect academic and out-of-class experiences through programming and leadership development that establishes a diverse, interactive, and responsive learning community. The Office of Student Life and Engagement prepares students to be citizen leaders with an understanding of the global community and a commitment to service.
Peay Link
Peay Link is Austin Peay's scource for news, events, and gerneral information about
what is going on around campus on a daily basis. Peay Link also features shortcut
to important studetn service websites like OneStop and Finacial Aid, it also has an
exstensive list of organizations including student clubs, fraternitys and sororities
and academic honors societies.
Greek Life
Austin Peay's Greek Life is committed to enriching students’ collegiate experience. We foster a community of values-based organizations
through a commitment to accountability, courageous leadership, and stewardship. For
over 47 years, fraternities and sororities at Austin Peay have had a proud area of
academic excellence, service to the community, and play a significant role in the
lives of hundreds of students and alumni.
Service Learning
Service – Learning courses can be found in almost every academic department at varying course levels and offer students a more hands
– on approach to their course material by interacting with a community to solve problems.
A service – learning section of a course combines 12 – 15 of carefully crafted volunteer
experience that connects with the course learning objectives. Service – learning experiences
vary greatly depending on the course, and can be included in study abroad opportunities!
Academic Student Involvement
Honor Societies
A student organization is defined as a group of currently enrolled Austin Peay State University students who unite to promote a common interest. All registered student organizations are affiliate groups of Austin Peay State University. Local and national Honor Societies provide service and/or leadership opportunities and recognition for students with academic honors.
Study Abroad

Studying abroad isn’t just taking a trip. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the world andgain resume-building experience while earning college credits. And with programs lasting as short as one week and financial aid available, it’s an opportunity you cannot afford to miss!
Honors Program
The Honors Program is designed to challenge students and provide opportunities for creative exploration and intellectual development. The program requires motivated students to fulfill 30 Honors credit hours, both in the general education core and in upper-division courses in their majors.
PELP
The purpose of PELP is to prepare students at APSU for a lifetime of leadership. PELP creates an environment that develops leaders for the future through the twin virtues of scholarship and service.
