Student Publications

Student Publications is home to the editorially independent student newspaper on campus, The All State, and serves as a space where students bridge the gap between their academic curriculum and a practical environment.

Student Publications also produces the Student Handbook and Calendar and this guide. Students also have the opportunity take lab classes from the Department of Communications in the department. The All State has served as APSU’s student newspaper since 1930 and earned a 6th-place ranking for Best College Newspaper in the South and 4th for Best College Website in 2016-17, along with numerous other awards.

The All State is published each Wednesday during the semester and is available at many locations around the Clarksville campus and APSU’s satellite campuses.

You can read the newspaper online at www.theallstate.org and on Facebook (www.facebook.com/theallstate), Twitter (@TheAllState) and Instagram (@theallstate_apsu).

Any enrolled student is welcome to apply for an array of positions from writing, to designing, and advertising by visiting www.apsu.edu/student-pubs, or you can pick-up an application in the newsroom.
