Office of Study Abroad and International Exchange
You can study all over the world
What is International Education?
The Office of International Education prepares APSU students to be knowledgeable about the world, experienced with intercultural communication and equipped with an international skill set necessary to support our community needs in an increasingly global society. The Office of International Education also serves incoming international student and scholars. The mission of APSU’s Office of International Education is to support and engage all students with diverse global opportunities.
Study Abroad and Domestic Programming
Prepare early if you are interested in studying abroad. APSU offers both short-term (1 to 6 weeks) and long-term (1 semester or academic year) study abroad programs. We offer general program advising sessions all year around; as well as program-specific advising sessions prior to program application deadlines. Study Abroad 101 information and Study Abroad Fair sessions are offered during fall and spring semesters.
If studying abroad is not an option, APSU students can still benefit from international programs by participating in the Bridge Program. The Bridge Program is a peer-mentor group which consists of both international and domestic students enrolled at APSU. It is designed to help international students explore American culture and history while teaching First Friends (domestic students) about culture and history of their countries.
