Honors Program

What is the Honors Program?

The Honors Program is designed to challenge students and provide opportunities for creative exploration and intellectual development. The program requires motivated students to fulfill 30 Honors credit hours, both in the general education core and in upper-division courses in their majors.

What qualifications do I need to be accepted into the Honors Program?

Eligible applicants must have a minimum ACT composite score of 26 and a high school cumulative grade point average (unweighted) of 3.50. High-achieving students who transfer to Austin Peay can also apply to the Honors Program, but must first contact the Honors Program director at kenneym@apsu.edu.
