APSU Campus Police provides a security escort service the Clarksville campus. The security escort service operates 24/7. Call 931-221-7786 for assistance.

Austin Peay State University offers AP Alert, an emergency text message system that enables designated APSU officials to send announcements about any imminent emergency affecting the campus. You can also download the free LiveSafe app from the iTunes store which allows students, faculty and staff to quickly and conveniently communicate with APSU Campus Police.

AP Alert is another means for members of the University community to be notified of weather-related closings and emergencies.

Students can sign up to receive emergency notifications by providing his/her cell phone information, as described on the web at www.getrave.com/login/apsu.

Emergency “Blue Boxes”

Emergency telephones — also known as “Blue Boxes” — are found in numerous locations around campus. If you have an emergency, simply press the button on the callbox. You can also call 911 from your phone.
