Student Affairs provides opportunities for students at APSU to build alliances between the classroom and campus life and experience the excitement and responsibility that come from being an active member of a community of higher learning.

The vice president’s office is responsible for the division of Student Affairs, composed of the Dean of Students, Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, Student Life and Engagement, University Recreation, Career Services, Little Govs Child Learning Center, Housing/Residence Life and Dining Services, Office Disability Services, Student Conduct and Case Management, Hispanic Cultural Center, Wilbur N. Daniel African American Cultural Center, Student Publications, Military Student Center, Adult and Nontraditional Student Center, Student Affairs Programs and Assessment, Center for Service-Learning & Community Engagement and Student Counseling & Health Services. The departments in Student Affairs provides several programs for students throughout the year, such as Friday Football Frenzy, First Friday, Polar Plunge, Student Organization and Leader Awards, the annual Unity Celebration, the Who’s Who selection process, Holiday Reception, Help an Elf Holiday service program, GOVS LEAD and many more.
