The Hispanic Cultural Center creates an inclusive environment for the entire APSU community, fostering meaningful dialogue and cultural understanding of Hispanic communities.  We retain and empower Hispanic students to succeed, giving them a sense of belonging until graduation and beyond.

Welcome to the Hispanic Cultural Center!

The HCC's family-like environment is a place “Where Strangers Become Amigos, and Amigos Become Family." All students are welcome to gather, learn, share, and celebrate Latino cultures at the HCC through our many cultural activities, scholarly lectures, and celebrations.  Additionally, we host programming and provide resources centered on empowering, retaining, and aiding Latino students at APSU.  Our goal is to provide a support network for the Latino community to succeed at APSU. 

We invite you to visit us, partake in the many activities, and take advantage of the resources we have to offer. The HCC family is here to support you as you pursue your educational goals at APSU!

The HCC is centrally located on the first floor of the Morgan University Center in room 115.  The space is equipped with a variety of amenities open to all students:
  • Technology resources including graphic calculators, computers, laptops, and a printer
  • An area to relax in between classes with a TV, comfortable seating, and board games
  • A quiet study room
  • A fridge, microwave, and toaster oven
We are open Monday through Friday from 8 am until 4:30 pm.

 

 

¡Bienvenidos al Centro Cultural Hispano!

El ambiente familiar del Centro Cultural Hispano es un lugar en "Donde los extraños se convierten en amigos, y los amigos se convierten en familia". Todos los estudiantes pueden reunirse, aprender, compartir y celebrar las culturas latinas en el Centro Cultural Hispano a través de nuestras numerosas actividades culturales, conferencias académicas y celebraciones. Además, organizamos programas y proporcionamos recursos centrados en empoderar, retener y ayudar a los estudiantes latinos en APSU. Nuestro objetivo es proporcionar una red de apoyo para que la comunidad latina tenga éxito en APSU.

Lo invitamos a visitarnos, participar en las numerosas actividades y aprovechar los recursos que tenemos para ofrecer.¡La familia del Centro Cultural Hispano está aquí para apoyarlo mientras persigue sus objetivos educativos en APSU!

El Centro Cultural Hispano está ubicado en el primer piso del Morgan University Center en la habitación 115. El espacio está equipado con una variedad de servicios abiertos a todos los estudiantes:
  • Recursos tecnológicos que incluyen calculadoras gráficas, computadoras, computadoras portátiles y una impresora
  • Un área para relajarse entre clases con un televisor, asientos cómodos y juegos de mesa.
  • Una sala de estudio tranquila
  • Una nevera, microondas y horno tostador.
 Estamos abiertos de lunes a viernes de 8 de la mañana a 4:30 de la tarde.
