Family Weekend 2016: September 9-11

Family Weekend 2016 will be September 9-11. Preregistration has now closed!  For further questions please contact Student Life and Engagement at (931) 221-7431.

Registration Packages:

1) Govs Option: $10/person (over the age of 2), does NOT include football game ticket. 

2) Let's Go Peay Option: $15/person (over the age of 2), includes football game ticket. 

**APSU students are free, but still need to register with their families or individually**

-Early Check-In/Registration (Morgan University Center 211)

Saturday, September 10, 2016

10:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. 

-Check-In/Registration (MUC Lobby)

  -Pick up your family weekend materials including your T-shirt and tickets and participate in the following events: Welcome Reception (Academic Affairs and University Advancement), Fun Family Photos, Campus Tours, and Wisdom Walks with APSU faculty Dr. Mickey Wadia and Dr. Wes Atkinson. 

9:00 A.M.- 4:00 P.M. 

-Open Recreation at the Foy Fitness Center (also open on Sunday from noon - 10 P.M.)

12:15 - 1:45 P.M. 

-Welcome Event: Magican/Mentalist Craig Karges: Experience the Extraordinary (Clement Auditorium)

  -Craig Karges combines the art of magic with the science of psychology and the power of intuition to create the impression that nothing is impossible. 

12:30 - 1:30 P.M. 

-Interfraternity Council Bid Day (Red Barn)

2:00 - 3:30 P.M. 

-Service Sampler (Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement, 322 Home Ave.)

  -Learn about the volunteer experience at APSU. Sort food pantry donations, help in the garden and look after the campus chickens!

2:30 - 5:30 P.M. 

-Tailgate Alley (Fortera Stadium Lot)

  -Pregame concert featuring Music for Mercy and The Nightmasters. As well as inflatables, games, food, and fun! 

6:00 P.M.

-Football game versus Tennessee Tech (Fortera Stadium)

9:30 - 11:30 A.M.

-Latecomer Check-In/Registration (MUC Lobby) 

10:00 - 11:00 A.M. 

-Nondenominational Service (MUC Ballroom)

  -Student-led worship serivce. All students and family members are welcome to attend. 

10:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.

-President's Brunch (APSU Caf)

  -Greetings from APSU President Alisa White and your chance to interact with faculty members. 

11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. 

-Family Make and Takes (MUC Plaza)

  -Before you go, take a stop by this photo novelty program for Green Screen Photo Magazine Covers and Photo Coffee Mugs. Sponsored by the Govs Programming Council and Hispanic Cultural Center.

Septemeber 9-10: Riverfest in McCregor Park and Liberty Park
