Important Pre-Homecoming Dates:

  • Friday, October 10: Homecoming King & Queen applications due by 4:00 p.m. (online-PeayLink)

  • Tuesday, October 21: Homecoming King & Queen elections (online-PeayLink)

  • Wednesday, October 29: All Homecoming entry forms due by 4:30 p.m. (MUC 211)

  • Friday, October 31: Banners due by 4:00 p.m. (MUC 211)

Monday, November 3

11:00 a.m.            Student Government Association (SGA) t-shirt give-away (MUC Plaza) 

5:00 p.m.              StepSync/Bonfire/Court Announcement (Foy Fitness Center/Dunn Bowl)

                            Free and open to the public. Student organizations present a step show or lip sync based on the Homecoming theme of GOV Strong.

Tuesday, November 4

12:30 p.m.           Governor Peay Says (MUC Plaza) 

7:00 p.m.             AP Apollo (Foy Fitness Center)

                           Free and open to the public.  Students amaze the audience with their talents.  Sponsored by Govs Programming Council (GPC). Registration info will be available at 

Wednesday, November 5

12:00 p.m.           BBQ and T-shirt Swap (MUC Plaza) 

Thursday, November 6

12:30 p.m.           Throw Back Thursday Mystery Event (TBA)

7:00 p.m.             Homecoming Concert (Foy Fitness Center) 


Friday, November 7

11:00 a.m.           First Friday/Pep Rally (MUC Plaza) 

5:00 p.m.             Fight Song Competition (Foy Fitness Center)

                          Free and open to the public. APSU’s favorite new tradition. Student organizations perform the traditional “Smash Bang” fight song then an altered rendition (based on Homecoming theme of GOV Strong).

Saturday, November 8

10:00 a.m.           Homecoming Parade

                           Free and open to the public. APSU gathers together to celebrate Homecoming 2014.

4:00 p.m.             Football game vs. TSU (Governors Stadium)

                           Homecoming King and Queen/Red Bowl announcement will be at halftime of the game

7:00 p.m.             Step Show (Foy Fitness Center)

                           $10 APSU students with I.D, $15 in advance, or $20 at door
